In the fall of 1998, two parents discussed over a cup of coffee what type of residential support services their two children would have in the future. The parents researched the market place and invited the community to become involved.
Fast forward to January of 2000, when the agency was formed. MJFFC became incorporated, receiving charitable tax status and then began operating under alternative community programs and gradually increased to building the agency's first three residential homes in the community of Moose Jaw.
Moose Jaw Familes for Change continues to support individuals of varying abilities within the community of Moose Jaw, while promoting independance and quality of life. MJFFC strongly believes in providing all individuals with the ability to make choices and decisions to further their personal and professional interests.
